43rd Annual Fair planning is under way!

Theme: Bluemont’s Old Time Country Fair

The Bluemont Citizen’s Association is excited to announce that plans are underway to prepare for our 43rd annual Bluemont Fair.

The Fair committee has new leadership this year and will be organized under the tutelage of Patti Pettit, a Bluemont resident, and Bob McCann, Bluemont business owner of Iron Gate Antiques.

During the March meeting a theme was selected for our 43rd annual Bluemont Fair. The theme is Bluemont’s Old Time Country Fair. The artwork should include scenes reminiscent of Bluemont fairs as well as a likeness of the Bluemont United Methodist Church, a vital structure that has historically played a role in Bluemont’s past. (www.bluemontumc.org) The artwork that is selected will be included on our posters, t-shirts and memorabilia sold at this year’s fair.

Entries should be mailed to The Bluemont Citizen’s Association, PO Box 217, Bluemont, Virginia, 20135. Entries must be received on or before May 1st.
